TERRATEST
🌍 Every great project is more than engineering and construction — it is about people working together with a shared purpose.
During our visit to Gerota Hospital and Bucharest Metro – Washington Station, colleagues from across TerratestGeotehnic — Commercial, HR, Tendering, Design, and Finance — joined forces with our site teams.
Seeing the projects through different perspectives reminded us that behind every foundation, every drawing, and every number stands a team united by dedication and trust.
✨ Collaboration turns challenges into solutions and projects into lasting impact.
🚧 DN73 Road Rehabilitation
As one of Romania’s important transport routes, the DN73 is undergoing rehabilitation to improve safety, traffic flow, and regional connectivity.
Our contribution to this project focused on special foundation works, where we executed micropiles to strengthen and secure the structures along the route. These unseen but essential elements ensure long-term stability and durability, supporting the modernized infrastructure above.
Building from the ground up, all foundations matter.
Celebrating World Photography Day 📸
Behind every great project are the people who bring it to life. Today, we take a moment not only to share images of our work, but also to honor the faces and stories behind them.
Many of our colleagues have been part of this journey for years, contributing skill, commitment, and passion day after day. These photos capture more than moments on site — they reflect trust, teamwork, and the strength of experience built together.
Here’s to our people, the foundation of everything we achieve.
Connecting the Future — One Foundation at a Time
Between the speed of the A3 and the rhythm of DN1, a new express road begins to take shape — a vital link easing the flow between Cluj-Napoca and Turda.
At the heart of this transformation, our expertise in special foundations supports the infrastructure that will soon carry people, goods, and opportunity.
Piles driven deep, anchors set with precision — unseen elements holding the weight of progress.
With over 33.500 linear meters of piling and more than 27.600 meters of ground anchors executed, this project stands as a testament to precision, scale, and commitment.
Each meter of this road is more than just engineering — it’s a commitment to safety, connection, and the seamless movement of a growing region.
Shaping the Ground for Tomorrow’s Harvest
The new oilseed silo complex marks a key step in ensuring safe storage and long‑term quality preservation of vital agricultural resources.
In parallel, the modernization of the vegetable oil production unit enhances processing capacity, efficiency, and sustainability in the agri‑food sector.
Our expertise in special foundation works supports projects that strengthen local economies while driving progress across the agricultural and industrial landscape.
The construction of the new metro line in Sofia represents a significant investment in sustainable infrastructure, designed to improve connectivity, reduce traffic congestion, and support the city’s growing population.
We’re proud that Terratest Geotehnic played a key role in this ambitious project by delivering specialized foundation works—an essential step in ensuring the stability and safety of underground infrastructure. From diaphragm walls to deep foundations, our expertise helped set the groundwork for a more connected and accessible city.
👏 Congratulations to all the teams involved in making this project a reality. This is a great example of how engineering and collaboration can transform urban life, above and below ground.
The future Multifunctional Cultural Center of Oradea is taking shape.
As the special foundation partner, our work laid the structural base that will support a space dedicated to art, learning, and community.
Foundations are more than technical achievements — they’re the silent promise of what’s to come.
More than concrete and steel, this foundation stands for connection, creativity, and community.
Where culture meets engineering, lasting progress begins.
🏥 Strong Foundations for a Stronger Future in Healthcare 🏗️
Every great structure starts with a solid foundation.
In Cluj-Napoca, the groundwork for a new hospital has been successfully completed, setting the stage for a modern medical facility that will serve the community for years to come.
🔹 Key foundation works delivered:
✔️ Diaphragm Walls
✔️ Bored Piles
✔️ Dewatering System
✔️ General Excavation
From design to execution, each step required precision, expertise, and advanced geotechnical solutions to ensure long-term stability.
With the foundation in place, the next construction phases can rise on solid ground.
A great achievement for all involved in bringing this vital project to life!
